Two flights daily between Paris – Orly and Aurillac
Hard to say… the travel times are pretty much the same but the approach is different. If you want to experience the first influence of the mountains, go via Clermont-Ferrand, pass through the Liroran Tunnel, then lift your eyes to the mountains and try to get a glimpse of the burons before heading into Aurillac. On the other hand, if the southern ambiance of this part of the Auvergne sounds more attractive to you, going by way of Brive is a must. Imperceptibly, the traveler will pass from the orange of tile roofs to the lunar grey of slate roofs. From a purely pragmatic point of view, the toll via Clermont is about double the toll for going via Brive.
AURILLAC! Airlinair offers two flights per day, morning and evening, from Paris – Orly. Early reservations will ensure the best price. We can pick you up at the airport, (we are just 10 minutes away), or you may think about renting a car or SUV to further explore the region.

At Place d’Aurinques, take Rue de la Coste alongside the church. A retractable post limits access to this pedestrian street. You will have to ask for access by pushing the call button at the intercom box to your left. Tell them that you are a guest at the bed and breakfast La Chapellenie. Should you encounter any problems, don’t hesitate to call me at 06-80-24-23-33
Once in the Rue de la Coste, take a right at Rue de Noailles. Garage space depends on our occupancy upon your arrival. Other parking is available after having unloaded your bags at the house at the Parking du Marché. (see map of “La Chapellenie in Aurillac” below).
